Silver Spurs Rodeo Club is a non-profit rodeo club that has served horse lovers in Louisiana for over 30 years.  We have over 100 families with ages ranging from 0 – 60 years old.  We also offer lead-line classes for younger riders and handicapped individuals.  We offer timed events such as:  Barrel Racing, Flag Racing, Pole Bending, Stake Race, Goat Tying, Mutton Busting and several Calf Roping events. Riders participate within their respective age groups.

           This organization is hosts riders that are both beginner and more experienced rodeo athletes.  Our priorities include safety of the rider and their equine partner, sportsmanship, and fun.            

           We have approximately 9 shows each year and with the support of our sponsors, the organization awards trophy belt buckles to all participants along with other prizes.
